we've got **** all chance really - i wasn't too fussed about it (not like some on here) yeah it'd have been good etc but

really - what more can they want (fifa) we have the stadiums, the ability to cope with major tournements, the police structure, the following - everything really - it's just mental - it's almost like a gamble - "yeah england are sorted....so lets give it russia and see if they can pull it off"

Both Triesman and Panorama said what happened after it happened, getting pissed off with all this support for high level corruption and the insinuation that we should be playing the game too. It's a world cup, not an arms deal for Saudi Arabia ffs sake!
