apparently hes been offered the 80,000 a week plus a hefty goal bonus BUT hes had a scan on his heel and its not looking great so all parties are sweating on the outcome.

just because of andy carroll being a big useless lump whose brain seemingly struggles to communicate with his feet it seems we automatically rule out the possibilities of getting another 'big unit' as some people put it.

the likes of benteke or lukaku show that even big lads with strength can still manage to transmit messages from their brain to their feet.

now maybe the two named are not the lads for us, due to price or clubs not willing to let them go, but we should not automatically rule out someone just because they are over six feet tall.

I think Carroll has certain attributes that will benefit a certain style of play.

A fully fit Carroll, with Fat Sam's alehouse tactics and the release of pressure from being at the top end of the Premiership may seem him become a relatively decent striker. A modern day Kevin Davies mebbe. I don't think he's ****, he was just the wrong player, at the wrong time for a wrong fee.

he isn't ****, and will do a decent job for West ham and will score 15 goals a season ( fully fit ) with a team built round him.

He just has to many flaws in his game to be considered for any decent team.

Not really, from his point of view it's a win/win. If WH give him the 100 grand a week = win, and if WH pass on Carroll and he has to return to Anfield = win.
If Carroll returned to Anfield he'd fancy his chances of getting games. Borini gets injured, a lot. Sturridge gets injured, a lot. Suarez is off.

The Times and various other papers claiming Carroll has told West Ham he wants £100k a week to sign for them. Been getting £80k. kin piss taker
