If Carroll has any footballing ambition whatsoever he will leave. There is no way he'll want to stay at LFC and sit on the bench. IMO he will 100% leave.

I can't see Carroll rejecting WHU though, it would be a bad career move for him to stay and be a sub for us. He'd be ruling himself out for the WC 2014 for starters.

I feel a bit sorry for Carroll though to be honest. It isn't his fault he doesn't fit into the manager's plans or that we paid £35m for him. I think Newcastle are just taking the p*ss though and I don't think LFC will deal with them or allow Carroll to go there.

I'll take this article with a pinch of salt. Can't believe Carroll would return to us knowing that he won't play.

Clearly holding out for Newcastle to come in for him but I still think he'll end up at West Ham.

He signed a five and half year contract January 2011 so three years left on the contract.

If West Ham for example offer him £50k a week in wages then we are talking about big money that we would have to pay Carroll if he don't put in a transfer request.

He is on £90k a week allegedly so we would have to pay him around £6.2m plus the % of the £15m transfer fee.
