and misses a couple of things

when adults get pissed sometimes drinks get spilt, people slip and bump into people ACCIDENTALLY.

Also you miss her throwing her drink over him.

thinking glassing is a reasonable response well its just macho bull**** isnt it.

        "were I'm from"

Where is that then, the Isle of the ill-educated?

Real tough guy, glassing someone. Proper impressive stuff.

You'd better get back for afternoon registration now.

While people are going on as if he's gone out of his way to smash a glass in to someones face lets remember this :

Faulks told the player, whose goal at the weekend gave Newcastle a 2-1 victory over West Ham in the Premier League: "The prosecution accept you did not intend to injure Mr Cook but that what happened to him was effectively an accident. In those unusual circumstances I can proceed to deal with you today by means of financial penalties."

Though I get the feeling some would love for him to **** up badly so the "I did warn you" can be used.
Or perhaps people want him to succeed on the pitch and realise that engaging in criminal activities could destory his career?

            Just a thought, like...

Yes, but I'm not sure why you're getting all upset about it now. We knew about this stuff 2 weeks ago when we signed him.

But then again if we win everything is perfect and if we draw or lose we get a week of the owners are evil, everything is wrong type posts from you so no surprise I guess.

And let's remember OJ Simpson was innocent!

People get off things in court sometimes, best thing is to move on and hope this kind of incident is his past and he's learnt from it.

Most of the conversation of late has been about it being unacceptable to hit someone with a glass - and glasses don't just slip out your hand hit someone in the face and cause two gashes that need stitches, some force was used here.

As I said though he's done it, it's in the past good luck to the big man in a LFC shirt and I am sure we'll only talk about his football whilst he's with us

So coming back to Craig's initial comment on the topic: he needs to cut this **** out. Sounds reasonable to me. You?

Yes, cos i'm saying 'the owners are evil' and 'everything is wrong' arent i? Get a ****ing grip.

We knew about this stuff before, of course we did. We also knew it was wrong and it's the kind of thing that could potentially ruin the guy's career, so obviously he needs to make sure he doesnt get into this situation again.

Radical stuff there from me, eh? We dont have a game next weekend, maybe we can send the squad out to the streets and clubs, to engage in some good old fashioned violence and some glassings...

Good one Chris. Completely ignore the valid points in the post, perfect sign of nothing to debate. Quality stuff.

I'm not sure why there's even an 'argument' - whatever the details of this incident, Andy Carroll needs to stop getting involved in situations where someone gets glassed in a nightclub and Andy Carroll ends up in court. What's to argue with about that?
