Enrique - I think Bendan wants ridHenderson - Doubt he'll be sold
    What makes you think that?

I think he's won Brendan over, even if he does believe we can still improve that position. Definitely worth keeping as a versatile player IMO and also his strength can be useful against certain opposition.

A truly insane transfer. So depressing and frustrating. To think most of us could and would genuinely have spent that money better than Kenny and Comolli did.

Difficult to think of a worse transfer really.

Shame. We all really wanted him to do well and he was excellent (well, from what I saw) at Newcastle in the couple of months prior to us signing him.

His limitations were hopelessly exposed though. Even when he had that run of good games towards the end of last season he was so frustrating. He'd knock the ball down on the halfway line, hold it up, lay it off and then just potter around rather than busting a neck to get up and support our attackers.

You say that but Newcastle were flirting with relagation whilst West Ham were safe with weeks to spare.

Oh well that makes is so much better.

Newcastle dry bummed us and then made us apologise.

Just seen the updated news about the sell-on clause.

25% if we make a profit on him indeed.

I know - profit on £35m for him
We should have snug in a 25% sell on clause, only applicable to loss made. Damn accountants!

Techinally success for Carroll in a Liverpool shirt is success for us.
I'm not going to offload on Carroll I think he is decent and I would have liked to have seen him given a chance. Oh well. 15m is fair enough (providing Carroll joins them).
