I think he's won Brendan over, even if he does believe we can still improve that position. Definitely worth keeping as a versatile player IMO and also his strength can be useful against certain opposition.

Shame. We all really wanted him to do well and he was excellent (well, from what I saw) at Newcastle in the couple of months prior to us signing him.

His limitations were hopelessly exposed though. Even when he had that run of good games towards the end of last season he was so frustrating. He'd knock the ball down on the halfway line, hold it up, lay it off and then just potter around rather than busting a neck to get up and support our attackers.

He is not going to be a success with us and the quicker we can get rid and the more we can get the better for the club and the better our chance to replace him with a good player. The club is more important than anyone's record.

Techinally success for Carroll in a Liverpool shirt is success for us.
I'm not going to offload on Carroll I think he is decent and I would have liked to have seen him given a chance. Oh well. 15m is fair enough (providing Carroll joins them).
