He is slow but that doesn't mean he can't make it - depends on where he plays in the team.

Jonjo has an eye for the pass and though he doesn't have pace on his side he compensates that lack of it with ability to anticipate plays and reads the game well.

I'd play him quite much more for the remainder of the season as we don't have anything to lose any longer and he needs playing time.

We won't really know how much his lack of pace affects his overall game until we see him play at least few games at the highest level.

If Henderson can get the chance to play 20+ games and he showed very little at best why not give Shelvey a chance to prove himself till end of the season.

I've said it before and i'll say it again, Shelvey for me is a better player than Henderson and shows a lot more potential than him too.

Why we wasted £16m on Henderson when you had Shelvey who plays in the same position i have no idea, If it was because Henderson could play on the right, then whoever scouted/called that needs sacking.
