Loaning him for a season to a mid or low table team in PL would be imo ideal as it would give him an opportunity to start regularly, which he won't get with us.

It'd be good for him to continue his development and would be good for us as we could determine if he is good enough to come back and fight for a place with us or we should be looking to offload him.

I think we should probably sell, we need to improve in that area and for me 1 of Allen/Henderson/Shelvey need to leave to make space.

Allen won't go IMO, Henderson deserves to stay more than the other 2 and Shelvey could go out on loan but I don't see the point to be honest.

How can you not see the point in giving a young talented player a full season of first team PL experience? Honest question

Maybe poorly worded because there is clearly benefits to it but I meant after he spends a year out on loan at say a mid table side, then what? Henderson is better suited to the Rodgers style of play IMO and he'll still be ahead of him. I think we'll bring another CM in over the next 12 months because we lack real quality there after Lucas and Gerrard.

If we could get £7m+ for him this window, I think it would be best for us to use the money bringing others in.

Shelvey will never be good enough for our midfield IMO but it does make sense to loan him out, hopefully he improves and we can sell him for a higher fee.
Wouldn't be bothered if we sold him but i would understand if we loaned him out.

Problem is you loan him out & it's another year off his contract - if he doesn't do enough to impress then his value plummets

                    I don't think he's good enough - he's ponderous & lead footed

                    Sell

the players we are being linked with and are the likely new boys have much more class and finesse than shelvey will ever have. he will never be that good, so i think maybe we should sell and let him go and do his thing elsewhere.

Shelvey, subject of interest from Norwich, could leave for an offer of £5m

I would be happy with 5mil. He is so far down the pecking order I think both parties would benefit from him moving on

Good deal for me at £5m

He'll never be a top player IMO.

I would loan him out for a year he needs regular first team games, I think people forget how young he is, he is still only 21 so he is still far from the finished product, because he has been at the club for a while people are expecting more of him.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
