He's had his moments up front for us, but if he were that good as a striker he wouldn't have been played in the right sided role, which as you say is his best position. But he's at his best in the big games, in the so called lesser games he seems to have less of an impact.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He's the best foil for Suarez atm unless Gerrard plays there.
      Are we winning?

No way, he's ****. Carroll should start. Dirk is a woeful player he really is.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I love Dirk and still believe he should be a starter every week, football is much more than what you do with the ball at your feet. His off the ball running along with Suarez & Bellamy stretched Norwich to the very limit, only we could not capitalize.

Below are some interesting facts stolen from another web site, I have not verified any of it and that fellow Kanwar is a tit but here it is:

Here are Kuyt's creative stats after 5 full seasons at Anfield:

            - Games Played: 249
            - Goals: 67
            - Assists: 48

            =

            - 115 goals and assists in 249 games
            - Scores or creates a goal ever 2 games
            - Averages 13 goals and 9 assists per season
            - Directly responsible for 23% of all Liverpool's goals from 2006 to the present.

              Dangerous Dirk
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I liked the way Luis and Dirk embraced when he was getting subbed. Cute!

Last night was weird. After a couple of dogdy games it all seemed smiles again

He's the most under appreciated footballer I've ever known, except by players/coaches he's played with & for. Goal/assist stats up there with the best of them. 10th all time capped Dutch player with 24 goals for them.

I honestly wish I had of been so ****e at football. We'll miss him when he's gone, I'm sure of that much.

He's usually very good when the team around him is playing well. When the team is a bit down and needs a bit of composure on the ball and something special, Kuyt is not the man.

Unfortunately, to win the league we need the composure a lot more often than the 'engine'. He will be missed as a likeable fella but he won't be missed too much for his footballing ability.
                          One tit for another.

Sometimes he can have shockers but, generally speaking, he's very good. This is from someone who wanted him gone 2 seasons ago. I think he's one of our strongest players mentally and we need that at the moment.

We've had our money's worth. What a great service he's given. Probably the right time, to be fair.
