The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Dirk was fantastic today, can't fault him really. There was one move in the second half where he was clear on goal (well, sort of) on the left hand side of the D, but his legs just didn't seem to do it. It was that moment that highlighted for me that he is getting on. However, he has a fantastic instinct for goalage... A shame he also fluffed a few first touches. But I'd rather have him in the team than not. It is obvious though that, similar to Carragher, we will need to find a replacement. And hopefully not someone who is neither a striker, nor a right-winger.
Kuyts surprising return to form couldn't have come at a better time. Lots of positive for LFC recently and Kuyt scoring 2 in 2 is just another. Great performance again!
He had a good second half, but I can't say he was excellent, too many wasted passes and typical Dirk trapping spoiled it.
Agreed but to be fair he hasn't been playing regularly for a while now so there was bound to be some rustiness. If he gets a good run of games going I'm sure his passing & control will improve...

he looks ok around the box, but who would you leave out to accommodate him?
his product from the rw is very poor. runs into the corner, then stops, looks around, then passes back.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
