                    He was brilliant when he came on, did about a game's worth of running in 15 minutes, and started making the runs down the channels and occupying the space in front of the centre backs that we were crying out for all game.

                        Was superb, Carroll could learn a lot looking at the way Dirk works his arse off chasing defenders closing down space and his great aggression.

                                He did extend his contract for one more year but I cannot see him staying past summer.

                                He still wants to play regular football and with us he'll need to get use to much more diminished role.

                                Great impact player and yesterday not only he scored in extra time but he converted his penatly kick when others didn't.

                                Great servant to this club and pic of him and Luis on his back is one of my favorites from yesterday.
