No worries. He said that he playing for Copenhagen would be ideal for him, and in Denmark there is something called "forskerordning" (hard to translate). That means that when he have played football for clubs in other countries than Denmark for 10 years or more he can play for a Danish club and pay 25% or 33% in taxes instead of 48% plus an additional tax for people who make a lot of money. So I think that he will play for FC Copenhagen after this season it would also be nice for him to settle down when his children are starting in school.Originally posted by Chris View PostBit worried it translates as "hired for a season". Surely they'd give him longer than a year's deal, worried its only a loan now.
Hopefully just a dodgy translation.
I know some of you (all of you) aren't satisfied with his effort on the field but I think he hasn't been able to settle down in Liverpool or Torino. His carrier needs to be kick started. In my opinion his a good player but the move to Liverpool were are mistake for both parts but lets face it. Roy was very happy with his performances when he coached Copenhagen so maybe he overestimated him.
Sorry for my bad grammar and miss spelling.
Very good two transfer windows for the Reds. Hopefully it will continue the next couple of windows.JUSTICE FOR THE 96!

Haha no.Originally posted by Assassin View PostAre you poulsens agent

But a couple of days ago Copenhagens manager said that he would like to have Poulsen in the squad and Poulsen have also said that he wanted to try to play in one of the big leagues one more time but he wants to come back to Copenhagen some day. So I'm just adding two and two together really.
But I'd love to be his agent. His been quite a few places. Copenhagen, Schalke, Sevilla, Juventus, Liverpool and now Evian. His agent makes good money from Poulsens many transfers probably.JUSTICE FOR THE 96!

Apparently..
"Christian Poulsen's move to Evian means that he is the second player in history to play in all five of the big leagues (Schalke 04 in Germany, Sevilla in Spain, Juventus in Italy, Liverpool in England and now Evian in France) – at least his move is historic! The first player was Romanian striker Florin Raducioiu who played for AC Milan, Espanyol, West Ham, VfB Stuttgart and AS Monaco."I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Poulsen expects regular role

Danish midfielder Christian Poulsen is thirsty for first-team action with new club Evian after the international break.
The former Liverpool midfielder completed his move to the French Ligue 1 side on Wednesday after failing to impress with the Reds in his first season.
Having previously turned out for the likes of Schalke, Sevilla and Juventus, the 31-year-old's Anfield nightmare somewhat stemmed the flow of his career.
And, after being frozen out in the opening stages of this season, a move was always on the cards, but Poulsen is anticipating regular pitch-time again.
"Evian have been in the picture for a while and I have talked to them back and forth," Poulsen told Danish broadcasters TV2.dk.
"I look forward to going there to play, it's exciting. I have been there already, it's a beautiful place and I believe my family can be happy there."Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club
