I don't really have a problem with Poulsen, he was clearly nowhere near good enough but you could never accuse him of lacking effort.

He was offered the chance to play for us and grabbed it... Didn't hang around picking up huge wages when it became clear he wasn't going to play. He left in search of game time, without holding us to ransom unlike others in recent years.

I hope he has a good swan song to his career at Ajax.

I think Liverpool were still paying a portion of his wages after he left - I'm sure I heard that somewhere. Might have been on this forum
