Hmm, I'm not sure if I can really explain, it began with their fans probably. I actually remember really liking them up until around the time they signed Ronaldinho.
I understand if people here don't really understand my point of view, the fans' situation over here is probably quite different from the one in England; I hate the massive bandwagons of deluded hypocritical ****s who are so in love with that "more than a club" philosophy that you can't have a normal conversation with them, I hate that they mark everyone else as "thieves" because you can't buy a player from the "sacred" La Masia, of course signing 13 year-old Israelis, Argentinians, Mexicans, Brazilians etc. is all right. I hate how they **** over everyone else, while at the same time having dirty diving cunts like Busquets, Alves, Abidal in their team. I have how you can't watch football on a Slovenian TV anymore without having your evening ruined by a retarded Barca-fan commentator who's capable of making 20-minute conclusions about Real Madrid being unfair because "they dared winning 7-0 against a ten-men Malaga side, who's manager Pellegrini was actually helped to that position by Real Madrid because they felt bad about sacking him." I'm actually very saddened about the fact that a group of cunts managed to ruin one of the best football teams ever for me, but I just can't ****in stand anything connected to that club anymore.

Actually I don't but I do agree this hyping up the whole club is a bit sickening. There are good things about it but you're right, their own exploitative practices tend to get overlooked. The way the UNICEF deal was trumpeted as a sign of how different they are - it was always just marketing (although it was obviously good UNICEF got some money) and always just a means to sell the idea of eventually putting a commercial sponsor on the shirt.

I thought Xavi's recent comments about Carragher (and English football in general) were really arrogant and unpleasant. They're a great side, playing fantastic football, but there's more than one way to skin a cat.

But they're not Real Madrid, they haven't got Portuguese Ronaldo and they aren't managed by Mourinho, and I like them for that.
