Actually I don't but I do agree this hyping up the whole club is a bit sickening. There are good things about it but you're right, their own exploitative practices tend to get overlooked. The way the UNICEF deal was trumpeted as a sign of how different they are - it was always just marketing (although it was obviously good UNICEF got some money) and always just a means to sell the idea of eventually putting a commercial sponsor on the shirt.
I thought Xavi's recent comments about Carragher (and English football in general) were really arrogant and unpleasant. They're a great side, playing fantastic football, but there's more than one way to skin a cat.
But they're not Real Madrid, they haven't got Portuguese Ronaldo and they aren't managed by Mourinho, and I like them for that.
