I have to be very careful how I word this, but; I believe that Brendan is overrated by some people in our fan base. He's a very good manager and this shouldn't be mistaken for me not rating him, I actually don't think id replace him for another in the world (Pep would probably give me something to think about) I touched on it a little bit before Balotelli signed in the speculation thread and I just think some people saying that "Brendan will get the best out of him" or "Brendan will make him good" aren't always correct. I would not surprised me if he reached elite level in the next few years but I don't think he's quite there yet, he's learning on the job and it looks like he's improving in the transfer market. Just think a few out there overrate him.

I think short term it is a possibility. Although not a strong one. Even if he fails to make the CL I think the fact that he has adopted a strong approach and has seemingly gone for attacking signings will be felt as positive enough for him to be given longer than Moyes.Originally posted by chadrtc View PostVan Gaal will do a worse job than Moyes... Even having spent all that money.
A lot of United fans bang on about their previous striking depth and tradition of wing play. If he can convince them that his dream lays in that style of play I think he'll survive into next season no matter what."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

Which other managers would you have ahead of Brendan? Pep, obviously. Any others?Originally posted by Gibbo View PostI have to be very careful how I word this, but; I believe that Brendan is overrated by some people in our fan base. Maybe you also overrate him too?

I think he's a very good fit for us. Can't really imagine anyone else managing us at this point in time.
