I think football is the most overrated team sport in the world at the moment and would love to see it return to 3pm kick offs with very little live TV games.

I think FIFA are right to push for European leagues to schedule there games. March - Nov. Its the future and we should adapt
Isn't that simply because you remember it being that way, it wouldn't make it any better, just a **** for people who can't get to a game to see it.

I understand where he's coming from though i think.

I would like to see the great choice we have today, but done with less hype and bull****, building players up into some sort of supermen, and the managers into guru like leaders of men that we'd all apparently like next to us going into real life battle, bollocks!

It's just football, show the ****in game, next programme.

Yeah, it's boring me as well.

I rarely watch non-Liverpool games at all (and I don't have Sky so don't watch too many of ours live anymore either, unless I can find a decent stream....). Was just speaking to my dad about this, football's full of pre-madonnas, 95% of the people directly involved in the game. Be that ref's, administrators (FIFA and co), managers and of course players. None of them are professional in anything but name, none of them act professional in the slightest. Some of the stupid mistakes you see every match are just mind boggling. Football scrubs up pretty poorly against most other sports in this respect. It's a shame because it's such a simple game and that's what makes it so great to watch.... (and play in)

Kanu is **** at taking penalties. I'd say even Brad Jones would have saved it!
Jellyfish are 97% water or something, so how much are they doing? Just give them another 3% and make them water. It's more useful

                  I agree with this.

I really dislike Gerrard. I think his demeanour and status inhibit the rest of the team. He's positionally poor and can't be remotely effective unless he's given a free role from wide right or 2nd forward. Given his form over the last 2 seasons, we'd be better off without him. Still won't forgive him for the dalliances with Chavski.

I'd like Big Sam to get the England job

because I don't like England and it would be funny
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think Fabregas is over rated and wouldn't get near the Barca first XI.

Didn't he use to play Football?

This I hate the americanism of the game. The constant build up of nothingness. Kenny was bang on regarding wenger/kenny war of words to sky, they look for any little thing and run and run and run with it and it means nothing. Less is more.

I guess many of the radical football opinions are not so radical, as I agree with the vast majority of comments made in this thread. FAIL
