Nice one. I'm used to paying £2 for pints during the week, but then have to fork out about £3.60 for places with football on at weekends.

Aye, I'd be ready for a wee nap now after 7 on a Saturday. I'm fine drinking more during the week before I head home after work, but I think my body is still programmed to have a wee power nap on a Saturday evening after football from the days when I’d be heading straight out again that night.

I was relieved when Fowler left because I was sick of the soap opera and thought he was way past his best anyway.

        1. Totally agree with PTP's living in the past stuff. Does my head in at this stage and a gutted but have accepted imminent full dethroning by the scum.
        2. I wish Wayne Rooney had signed for us and still think he is an amazing player.
        3. I've found a lot of Rafa's post-LFC interviews very self-serving and kind of wish he'd shut up and move on, assuming he even means it all. (Edit - I'm withdrawing the last element of this completely)
        4. I can't shake my uncertainty about Kenny and even hope that someone else gets the job in the summer so as to signal a full break with the curse of nostalgia and sentimentality.
        5. I'm completely bored by and regret watching the vast majority of football matches I see including, and in the last couple of years especially, our own.

Hodgson is not a **** manager

We could challenge for the league without signing a winger.

I am very much in agreement with these two. I got rid of Sky because I was sick of wasting my time watching "big games" because Sky said they were "big games"...

Kenny - as much as I loved the lift and whooped and cheered when he came back in, I don't think it would be the right long term option. Is this the reason FSG aren't offering him the contract?

Nope Hodgson is not a **** manager. He is a manager who is superb at the right level. He is best with smaller teams with limited resources and getting them to play above their level with his version of teamwork and tactics which work with limited players. Put him in charge of a big club, with better players and higher expectations and he is the wrong man.

Many managers are of the same ilk. Graham Taylor and Joe Royle to name but two

I don't think Reina is all that and is over rated. He came here with a reputation for being a great penalty saver but apart from shoot-outs I can't remember one he has saved in normal time. Doesn't command the box enough either.

Javier Hernandez is going to be a great striker for Utd.
Jellyfish are 97% water or something, so how much are they doing? Just give them another 3% and make them water. It's more useful

He saved a pen against Man Utd @ Old Trafford.

                  Unfortunately the rebound was scored

Liverpool will be held back as a progressive attacking footballing side with Andy Carroll in the team.

Forgot about that one. But he rarely ever gets close to them.

I don't give a **** about our record been broken. Records are there to be broken and the sooner it is off our backs the better IMO.

We will now have something to aim for and with Kenny back at the club it will give us the kick up the arse we have needed for the past 20 years. Kenny is the man this club has been looking for for the past 20 years.

Since my son was born last year I hardly get to watch any football - I don't miss it that much. Pretty much every time I do watch a game I am massively disappointed, couldn't tell you the last time I really enjoyed a game - but it will be a couple of years ago.

Lets hope for some sort of change next season.

Funnily enough LFC TV just showed him saving a Portsmouth (Kanu) penalty.

He's one of the best keepers in the world.
