I think Jamie Redknapp was the best captain we have had for the last 15 years.

yeah the atmosphere is ****.....but it was **** in many games under rafa, and houiller before....football has become diluted...... I'm fortunate to get to go to most home games and i ****ing love anfield, but....many times over the years i've just thought **** it...maybe because i've been spoilt for choice with some of the matches i've been too, but theres been plenty of games were my choices have beenOriginally posted by Baracus View PostThe Anfield atmosphere during prem games is a bit drap.
Were seriously lacking quality 'new songs' Seems since Rafa left half the songs (and player songs naturally) left with him. Luis Garcia. Best Midfield in the World. Oo ooo oo Mascheranoo. More More more morientes. Peter Crouch. Torres boing. Bamba Rafa. Rafa Rafael.etc. So many.
go the game £35, plus £10 train/taxi/petrol/tunnel - £15 on a few beers, and say £5 on food - £65
or go the pub and watch it with mates, better atmosphere, closer to home, get bladdered for £15 and spend £5 on food -
Saving of £40 and although 'i've missed going' i've been that many times before, that missing say West Brom at home i'm not arsed as i need the money and i've had a better time in the pub
It's controversial, and it sticks my neck on the line a bit....but over the years - under houiller and benitez - theres been many games were i've sat there bored ****ing ****less, in a dire game, with zero atmposhere and i've thought ****ing hell waste of money...i could have saved me some much needed money and had more fun with the lads at the pub........i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Football is unimportant..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
