Aas bitter as i am and even if i dislike the man immensely, i recognize what an incredible manager he guy is. His record and longevity will never be beaten in the Premier League IMO, bitter pill to swallow but i'm not letting my bitterness cloud any judgement.

Yes, just because it's a LFC forum and i'm a LFC supporter i'm not going to change my general footballing opinion about it.

If Paisley has of managed us for another decade, who knows what he could have achieved, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Rare in football that any manager can last the amount of time that Ferguson has at the mancs and with the success he has had.

It is a non biased opinion, that i'm sure is shared by most others, that are LFC related of course.

Fair enough, and I think Ferguson has done an amazing job at Utd (hardly sticking my neck on the line with that).

But Bob Paisley was a cut above any other manager in my opinion. The way he conducted himself Ferguson could never achieve what he has with class. The amount of trophies he won in the time he was in charge. The teams he built and conquered England and Europe with. Ferguson is a fantastic manager for sure, but Paisley is a true great.
