By Arn's logic, Josef Fritzl, Osama Bin Laden and the Yorkshire Ripper all acted better than Gerrard.

Actually i really don't want to argue over him with a fellow red but he made his choice to stay in Manchester for the dollars and, if he is unhappy and wants to move, he should deal with this matter privately as it completely disrespectful to his current club.

If he's that ****ing unhappy then why not dip into his considerable fortune and buy out his contract and go to Boca for nowt?

People quit their jobs and take hits on their capital assets to make life changes every day.

          **** off Carlos.

Then it helps if you don't call people planks because they happen to look at more than the headlines

However there's no point carrying on like you must be right unless you happen to know the fella personally. We can only guess.

I do agree he should be dealing with it privately, but depression does lead to irrational behavior so it could well be a symptom rather than him just being a ******.

I think it's a bit pointless judging the bloke and calling him a cunt without knowing the inside story.

I don't think he as that option for another 12 months, it's usually 3 years in that kicks in I think. And buying himself out at a transfer price of 50m or whatever ridiculous sum city want would be a stretch even for him.

I understand depression. I went through a phase myself. I think everyone has at some point as its just part and parcel of life. I can normally sympathise with someone who sounds like they maybe depressed and/or has irrational behaviour but this Tevez fella has just become annoying. Surely he should be seeking help in private rather than airing his dirty laundry in public continuosly? If he is depressed that is.

Mancini told a journalist the other day that he thinks Tevez will be at City next season.

Promo for City's new away kit:

Captain, talisman and best player not included on the promo....

If they had put him on an ad with 'AWAY' emblazoned across it though...
                    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Carlos Tevez: When I leave Manchester City I will not go back there even for a holiday

Striker vows never to return to the region once his deal with the Blues expires as he suggests there is nothing to do there, and hints at Argentina reconciliation

Carlos Tevez has said he will not go back to Manchester even for a holiday when he leaves City at the end of his contract.

The 27-year-old has been linked with an exit from the Eastlands outfit with both Juventus and Inter seemingly interested in the Argentina international.

Tevez admits settling down in Manchester has been tough, while claiming he has reconciled his relationship with Albiceleste coach Sergio Batista after making the provisional Copa America squad.

"There is nothing to do in Manchester. I speak bad English still. When my contract ends in three years then I will not return to Manchester, not even for a holiday," he told Playfutbol.

On his return to the national team, after being dropped in the past for previous misdemeanours, he added: "We spoke about certain things and I told him [Batista] how I felt. He thought something of me, but I said it was not like that. In anycase, everything is clear now."

The Manchester City striker had previously thought about hanging up his boots next year, but that appears unlikely.

"I have always said I would retire when I was 28, but I think I will continue a bit more," he concluded.

Tevez 'always wanted to leave' since the day he arrived at West Ham.
