Not really.Originally posted by Arn View PostStrange thing to do. He would walk away on a free transfer if City won the case. He would of course be forced to pay the wages for the reminder of his contract.
Tevez would easily get that money back when he sign a deal with another club.
The outcome would be that he wasted 2+ years of his life playing for free and his next contract would be for significantly less than what he is currently enjoying.
Not in interest of any party to pursue that course of action.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Just stumbled across this: Classy, to say the least.
Carlos Tevez may sue Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini for defamation of character, BBC Sport understands.
City fined Tevez four weeks wages - about £1m - for what they believe were five separate breaches of contract.
Tevez's camp believe Mancini's claim that the forward refused to play in the Champions League match against Bayern Munich could amount to defamation.
Tevez was charged by City for refusing to resume warming up with a view to playing, BBC Sport understands.
More to follow.

This has gone so far beyond a joke it isn't even funny now, i actually find it extremely sad and a tad insulting that he is now going to sue presumably for more money because HE didnt do his job, while many other people are struggling through recession. Does he really want to embaress himself any further than he already has?
cannot wait to see him get his way and go back to south america. Tevez is a wasted talent, thats how i think he will be remembered.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

He's a ****, but how is he wasted talent? He's played regularly and performed his entire career; Boca, West Ham, Corinthians, City, Man Utd etc. It's only this season where he's not played, his talent has been showcased scoring over 20 league goals the last 2 seasons and winning trophies.Originally posted by lil_luis_07 View PostThis has gone so far beyond a joke it isn't even funny now, i actually find it extremely sad and a tad insulting that he is now going to sue presumably for more money because HE didnt do his job, while many other people are struggling through recession. because he will go back to south america before hes even 30, i mean he will be wasted with regards to his potential, hes perfomred exceptionally well in the past but he could go on to be so much more, instead hes a prick!Originally posted by Zapater View PostHe's a ****, but how is he wasted talent? He's more likely to be remembered as an abomination, a symbol of just low football sank (before - hopefully - the bubble burst). The cunt even has a T-shirt with some motto about himself on it:Originally posted by lil_luis_07 View PostThis has gone so far beyond a joke it isn't even funny now, i actually find it extremely sad and a tad insulting that he is now going to sue presumably for more money because HE didnt do his job, while many other people are struggling through recession. Very clever of city not to charge him with anything that there could be ambiguity over, i.e refusal to play. Tevez's puppet masters will hce fancied their chances challenging that and they will be really pisses off that the charge never came. So now they are force to sue or drop it.
