i can't see him going to any rivals either.

Utd - no go for obvious reasons
Chelsea - only possibilty due to money
Spurs/arse/us - couldn't afford it, unless it was a ridiculous cheap deal - and why would city want to strengthen a rival for champions league, and help them out on the deal financially too..

the position city are in - it would make more sense to them to loan him to QPR for the rest of the season, and City to contiune paying his £200k a week, than it would to loan him to us/arse/spurs, even if those three clubs covered the full £200k a week.

only chance of him going somewhere other than Chelsea in the PL will come down to that 10% rule of games otherwise he'll have the option to walk away from his contract.

Article 15 of FIFA's Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players stipulates that the striker is entitled to terminate his contract under "sporting just cause" next summer if he has been on the field for less than 10pc of City's total game-time by then.

The Tevez camp is aware of the case of Goran Pandev, the Macedonian forward forced out of the Lazio squad by club president Claudio Lotito in the summer of 2009, after he angered Lotito by indicating a desire to leave.

In a case with echoes of Tevez, Lotito rejected a €13m (£11m) offer for Pandev from Zenit St Petersburg as too low and within months Pandev filed for termination of his contract.

Italian football's governing body, the Lega Calcio, ordered Lazio to release him and pay him €170,000 for emotional distress.

British sports law specialists believe that Tevez would have a good chance of successfully invoking Article 15, in a case which may go to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, if City reject low offers in January and keep him out of the side until next summer.

I was reading the previous page or two and thinking I'd love him at anfield, looks like I'm going to pies people off by saying that ,and then I read this page
I think it would be the perfect place for him in English football.
We are a family club , we have plenty of south Americans , he would live it here. And he would piss the scum off that little bit more.

FSG imo would never spend money on someone who can walk away at any time due to "family reasons" or create distraction as he did during his spell at pretty much any club in PL.

He's always fine for a year or two. You can sell him after that.

I'd take him in a heartbeat. Him and Suarez would be great to watch.

If he stays in England then it'll be either at City after patching things up. Chelsea, Spurs or us.

                    United obviously a no go.
Chelsea have spent a shed load recently and would have to fit him in alongside Torres, Sturridge, Drogba and Anelka. Can't see it.
Arsenal won't pay that sort of money for him.
Unlikely that Spurs would too and they won't pay anything near the wages that he'd want. They can't surely take him on loan too?!

So in my opinion it's Spain (Madrid), stay with City or move to us or possibly Chelsea.

I can't believe these posts. How can we reward the guy almost this entire thread has condemned as a cunt?! I don't want him anywhere near our club, sometimes being a great player isn't a good enough reason to bring someone in.

I would absolutely hate it if we signed him.

I'd even have Mascharano back in a heartbeat.

Tevez needs managing/loving, IMO he'll end up at Spurs if he stays in England and Redknapp will probably get the best out of him too.

I think Kenny's man-management skills would work a treat on Tevez.

And yes, Tevez is a cunt but we're not inviting him round for dinner, we'd be putting him on a football pitch to win us games. Things are hard and competitive enough, without needing to restrict our recruitment policy to 'nice guys' who are good at football.

                              Absolutely.

It's undeniable he's a proven winner and he'd make us better and definitely more competitive and I'd take him without any hesitation.

Suarez/Tevez partnership would be a match made in heaven and I couldn't wait to see them shred all defences into pieces.
