I've had enough if getting screwed around by this guy and all the Italian clubs trying to buy him for a pittance.

We spent a lot of doe in him and we are giving him a good salary. I don't care if he's homesick, make the ****er stay in Liverpool and start earning his salary.

And the first time he's 'injured' I want a doctors note before he's allowed off time and he has to do his recovery in Liverpool. No going back to Italy to take the whole season to recuperate.

Let's make an example with him so we don't get screwed around again by clubs trying to buy good players off us for **** and taking them on loans and we even pay the ****in salaries!

AC Milan are trying to force down the price of Liverpool's 27-year-old midfielder Alberto Aquilani.

Not replacing Lucas in January was a financial decision made by FSG ... Of course, Kenny could have kept Aquilani last summer, and spent the £7 million from the Adam deal on a backup defensive midfielder, if that is what you are referring to ...

Aquilani wanted to go back to Italy

I know people will say we should still have kept him but generally you get very little out of players that unhappy/not fully committed to the cause

People need to move on from Aquilani, no matter who is our manager his future is clearly away from the club

Well, according to his latest interview before he was sent to AC Milan, that was not really the case ...

                  Aquilani happy to stay
Italian insists he could remain at Liverpool

Italian ace Alberto Aquilani has insisted he is more than happy to stay with Liverpool.

Aquilani spent last season on-loan at Juventus, and has since been linked with moves back to Italy with AC Milan and Fiorentina.

Kenny Dalglish has suggested the 27-year-old could still have a role to play with the Reds, and the former Roma star admits he does feel wanted at Anfield.

After scoring the winner for his country against Spain on Wednesday, Aquilani confirmed that staying at Liverpool was very much an option for him.

"All I can say is that there has been a lot of talk," he said.

"I wasn't following the Italian media much over the summer, but whatever happens I am at a great club like Liverpool.

"I'd love to make my mark at Liverpool. The transfer market is open until August 31, so we'll see what happens.

"Obviously I would take the offer of a permanent move into consideration with Liverpool."

It is very clear from that interview that he would prefer to play for some big club in his homeland, but there is nothing to indicate that he would be unhappy to remain at LFC ... Like I have already said, Kenny should have kept him at least for a season, and spent the Adam money on a backup for Lucas ...

Nah, I was only a reader for years ... I have been posting elsewhere, but it seems to me that this place is better for a reasonable debate ...

Aquilani in a proper mental stae, i.e. ready and 100% committed to making it work here could be a great addition next season. But I think it will end with him being released either on a free or a nominal fee. Have to say he looked really good last pre season and it is a shame he/we never gave it a proper go then.

Aye, because he’s only been ****ed around by various clubs over the past few years and still doesn’t know where his future lies or where he can settle down. So lets just ‘make an example’ with him and put the ****er’s head on a spike outside the visitors changing room as a reminder to teams that LFC aren’t to be ****ed with. **** the squinty eyed cunt, eh?

Edit: Ha ha, a slight episode of tourettes there.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

**** him, he's a multi-millionaire footballer that's always injured. The Italian clubs are trying to screw us on the price because they know he wants to go home. Make him stay here and earn his money
