Di Matteo can't be that good, he was sacked and replaced by the BodgeOriginally posted by Lee View PostGutted that he's gone actually. I was quite enjoying the Chelsea circus this season.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I was thinking that earlier. So that leads us to one logical conclusion... a man with 37.94 years' management experience, and winner of the John West Tuna Trophy 1973. A man who cut his teeth at Carshalton FC.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostDi Matteo can't be that good, he was sacked and replaced by the Bodge
Hodgson for Chelsea.

I came to the same conclusion using exactly the same thought process.Originally posted by Lee View PostI was thinking that earlier. For sure..I was just trying to convey the ridiculousness of the money involved and I conveyed it in a wrong way...Sorry about that...Originally posted by Chrono View PostIn relation to losing his job.
Roman has now spent in excess of 30 million on managers and payoffs from the end of last season..
Does this money also count for FFF?

There's been plenty of stuff in the past after Ancelotti that Abramovich realised he made a mistake in getting rid of Mourinho.
I don't think it'd matter whether Chelsea were in the Europa League or not. I think Abramovich realises that Mourinho is in the top 2 of world managers alongside Pep Guardiola and there isn't a better time to bring him back than now.
Mourinho has said it himself that he wants to win the Premier League, Serie A and La Liga and then join a club to build a dynasty. He's well on his way to winning La Liga now and then what better club to join than Chelsea to try and create something great.
