and that is only the compensation bit. If you include the wages then he probably spent £100m+.

How long do we give him then before a falling out with Roman?

Loving these Villas Boas comments. He will be a great journeyman manager. One of the reasons I did not want him at LFC.
I'd love to work in Argentina, Chile and Japan. I love Tokyo. But this is my dream job [being Porto's manager] and I want to be here for many years. I know it's not usual Porto's managers staying here more than two years, but I love my city and all this environment that surrounds the club. It's true that players have individual ambitions, but they can't put them above the collective goal. I've lived experiences abroad, but my feeling for this club [Porto] is extremely strong. That doesn't mean everyone shares it. I would never leave this chair [his job at Porto].I longed for this position [Porto's job] in an insane, blind way. It's the club I defend, where I grew up. Any fan of any club knows what he feels for his team. I do it with the same passion. This is the ultimate goal I always wanted.

He has apparently paid his own release fee. I wonder if he got tips from Harry when he was over here last. 'Oh 15m, here its is, in nice brown envelopes, no need to ask where I got the money from'
Would be funny if chesea did not end up with him.

if we didn't have kenny and went for him the mercenary brigade would be a bit quieter
