How'd the 4 fold go? Can't believe I've won back to back going against Barca! I've had terrible luck this season, at one point I'd be on Van Persie 4 times and they were the only 4 games he hadn't scored in
I think Barca gave the ball away more in that 1st half than they have the entire season! And I thought Real would bottle it but to be fair I thought Pep's tactics & poor team selection made it a hell of a lot easier for Real. I mean how can a manager play 2 central midfielders as centre backs & one of his best centre backs at right back while leaving his other best centre back on the bench?! ****ing bizarre to say the least imo...
What I was most surprised by today was how much of a team Real looked, rarely seen it from them but they pulled together, dug in and done what needed to be done.
They've just hit a purple spot at the worst possible time. Fitness wise, they look tired and sluggish. Lack of movement and Laudrup/Benitez hit the nail on the head last night when they talked about the lack of frontline.
Everything they normally do lacked intensity or they didn't do it at all. Real Madrid did everything they normally do and did it well. No gambles from Mourinho this time. He went for it and it paid off.
Barcelona need to just rest for Tuesday and make sure they are up for it.

They have been getting very close recently against Barca and have been unlucky against them.
It's weird when i watch El Classico even though i don't particularly like either team but i always want Madrid to win. I know alot of people hate Mourinho and he is arrogant and a bit of a bollix and that's fair enough, but at Madrid i don't mind him at all! He is a winner and a world class manager, that cannot be denied, even if people don't like him personally.
Guess i'm stick on Barca winning stuff! Barca have an incredible side but the reliance on Messi to win them games is unreal, he is that good it's like the rest are waiting for him to do something magical to win them the game.
Another thing that struck me is Ronaldo has been brilliant against Barca in the last 4 or 5 games whereas Messi has been quiet. "If" both sides get in the Champs League final should be some game and maybe revenge for Barca.
Yup, exactly. And they don't really have the squad depth either whereas Madrid do.
Three hours since Messi last scored too. Sack Messi. ****.
This is an audition so that he can get a move to us
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Dan in the nicest possible way
That is complete and utter Bollocks.
I suggest you watch the last 4 or 5 games. As it is the first I have heard from anyone to suggest that Ronaldo has been brilliant againt Barca in any game. In fact most say the complete opposite, bit of a lost journey man.
