I watched that, and to me at least, it seemed that what Jermaine Jenas (or was it the other one?) was saying, and what they were showing us didn't quite tally.

It looked to me like Leicester effectively absorbed the pressure then pounced (and scored).

They did play some pretty neat stuff though under pressure.

Leicester had 28% possession, and 7 shots on goal - to get 5 goals from that is pretty hard to believe. One of the biggest 'smash and grabs' ever surely?

They weren't under the cosh though at the end, once they went 2-1 up they were pretty comfortable.

The penalties were hard to disagree with.

Man City only had 5 shots on target all game. Given the possession (72%) they had and shots (16) that's bordering on criminal.

It definitely wasn't a "smash and grab". For the 37 minutes up until the Leicester pen City were definitely on top. Dominant in possession but not creating much.

Leicester had a predictable tactic of sitting deep and hitting on the counter attack. Getting the equaliser seemed to give them confidence and drain the confidence from City.

After that I think Leicester were deserved winners. City couldn't break them down and Leicester picked them off when they had the chance.

The scoreline probably did flatter Leicester, but it was a well earned tactical victory IMO.

City's front 3 were completely ineffective, bar that one strike from Mahrez. Sterling and Foden barely touched the ball in their revised roles.

KDB was City's only performer, but he had nobody to hit.

Smash and grab is a bit of an injustice to Leicester.
