Because he knows that's probably the only time in his career as a manager that he didn't have to spend to win. The level of quality of those particular players coming out of the academy at the same time will probably never happen againbin football.

It doesn't matter what bull**** he comes out with, he has a blank cheque to work with. They just keep adding top class players to an already stacked top class squad, year after year after year. It's so hard to compete with.
