Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you. -
All this crowing from United that they're moving away from the Galactico / Globetrotters model to something resembling copying us, and they might end up with Cavani and Ronaldo up front - combined age 80 - with Pogba and Fernandes behind, all on totally insane money. It can't and surely won't end well. Thanks very much for beingComment

United as City have more quality in their team and as such are better able to carry a player who will add to the goal tally of any team but not do much by way of tracking back.
At United I could see him disrupting the way the team plays more than at City and him getting huge wages there might upset the dressing room too.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Though I am slightly iff about City missing out on too many targets.
Kane and now maybe Ronaldo.
Might reach a point where somebody there twigs they can get a quality player who looks a perfect fit for them up front in Martinez for far far less than a Kane or Ronaldo would cost.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

BBC reporting that he's in advanced talks with UnitedComment

Ronaldo will be 37 in Feb! Half a million quid a week and there will surely be a couple of other players who'll want parity. It's a vanity signing, typical of United and will hopefully set them back like it did with Juve. Fernandes stats will take a serious nosedive now.
If City got him, they'd be more dangerous for sure.Comment

They do, Pogba, De Gea and I think Maguire has one too. Depends on the image rights as most clauses exclude that from the match clause.
TBF to them, they can afford it, £2m a game more than us in terms of match day receipts.I make no apologies, this is meComment
