Just get rid of VAR...

VAR is fine, the problem is the offcials on the pitch are so so poor that everyone expects VAR to clear their mess; but that simply cannot make up for the poor onfield decisions & are hamstrung by the clear & obvious bollocks.

Oh that & the 'Thats my mate' attitude.

Get in proffesional VAR who could not give a **** about 'their' on field mate, get officials on the pitch not in Webbs pocket & you will sort it

I think VAR has had the unintended affect of making the on-pitch officials ultra risk averse though. They think VAR will correct any controversial errors so pick the path of least resistance. We need to recruit more Ironballs McGinty.

There were lots of errors before var that were never picked up. The question is whether the error rate is reduced after the introduction of var and I’d bet it is, so overall it’s a net positive.

Yeah, the main benefit of VAR is it highlights the corruption and the inadequacy.

Yup, and while I don’t want to excuse Suarez for that, his English was a lot worse than Arteta’s. Even without the word “disgrace”, his rant deserved punishing. I would also be fine with it not being a punishable offense, but what’s annoying is the inconsistency.
