but for a back up you want them to be available. he may and he may not.

it just seems a waste of money (not our biggest by any means)

say you usually walk to work, you have a car for if the weather is foul. would you want more than a 50/50 chance of it starting that one time you need it ?

These are the minutes played in the 09/10 Season. We played over 55 games that season. Considering he was first choice for every game he was fit, this is terrible. It was also extremely disruptive when he went off.

I dont dismiss that, but as i've said, he isnt on megabucks and the value he offers for when he IS available is easily worth what he is costing us, financially speaking. And plus, we have Johnson to slot into leftback IF both Enrique and Aurelio are injured at the same time, which is unlikely i think, as Enrqiue's not someone who has a record of being injured a lot. 129 league appearances in 4 seasons for Enrique.

Yea we all accept that he is on a small wage. He is fine with me at the club. But my worry is that he is injured when we need him most. Its like Ledley King at Spurs. He might be one of the best in his position, but his problems outweigh the good. I hope that the physios can sort his problems out. On his day he is amazing.
