there was a moment he chased back and out sprinted walcott and shephered the ball out, this is when he's at his best.

coming foward he's so dopey and ponderous when it gets to 25 yards out.

he has the ability and is a very good player but lacks concentration and composure at times.
Absolute bollocks as usual. My only surprise is that you didn't work Reina into the blame equation.

For me, Enqrique has to be quicker out to the ball.

Yes, Enqrique is tracking Walcott, but Downing is tracking the run of Rosicky. Downing could (did?) have passed him on to Adam, but then Rosicky checked and played the wide ball (perhaps Downing could have stopped that ball if he'd been tighter), but Rosicky had worked him inside.

But then it goes from marking players, to defending; as soon as it got to Sagna, Walcott is passed on to Skrtel and Enrique is out to stop the delivery - he's just doesn't get tight enough, allows the ball to get in the box and Carragher lets Van Perise get the wrong side of him.

It's down to opinion but it's most certainly not "absolute bollocks".

Going to be interesting to see how he gets on next year.

Started last season brilliantly but was really terrible towards the end of the season. Hopefully Rodgers can ‘educate’ him on how to release the ball. His end of season form would normally be a big concern but at least he generally remained solid defensively.

I wonder if Rodgers sees Robinson as back-up or Johnson.

Enrique needs to learn to defend the ball and not the man. Too many times towards the end of the season he tried to out muscle the attacker and got done. Valencia in particular exploited this weakness in his play.

If he can sort that out, and I'm sure he will, he will be awesome for us again.

And when he is on the ball, pass it early FFS.

He could do with some genuine competition for his place, and not Johnson / Agger.

                  Robinson still too young IMO.

Insua would have been perfect as understudy.

                    Yup.

It's a shame that Aurelio had so many injury problems and Insua was booted out of the door far too soon.

If he starts the season like he finished last then personally I would drop him for Kelly, with Johnson at LB.

Lahm’s performances and goal for Germany at the Euro’s made me warm more to the idea of Johnson at LB, albeit it’s not his best position.

                        I miss Insua.

One of the many tragedies we have suffered in recent years was his departure. He was awesome last year for Sporting

There have been some tragedies. That is not one of them.
                            Oh I don't know.

Whilst not a tragedy, it was a daft decision and indicative of the problems of trying to get rid of players just because they were strongly associated with a previous regime.
