Charlie Adam runs as though he's wearing a full nappy.

Carroll clearly has something and nobody with eyes could fail to see that. He had 8 minutes and nearly scored a winner. Wish he'd had maybe 25 mins.

Generally though I've been disappointed with his heading

At Newcastle he looked really dangerous, with us he's had a couple of good chances and not managed to get on the score sheet

can't disagree with any of that, i suppose it's just waiting for him to unleash it at LFC. The lad has certai attributes that can give defences a nightmare, just a matter of him showing them in a LFC shirt, just hope he does

The first time I saw Andy Carroll I thought to myself he is some player and will be an absolute beast in a couple of years, thoughts shared number of people who have seen him close hand, he will come good or our team will come good with him in it would be more accurate.

Must be tough living off minimum service knowing you are going to get tore to pieces by the media and your own fans when you have had the ball played to you 6 times, 4 of those times over your head or not were you wanted it

If I'm honest, I'm still not completely convinced by Adam.

He has improved the past couple of games, but long term he is not the answer. I can't see us getting higher than 4th in the league with him a regular starter in the team.

That said, we have been spoiled in this department over the years.

A bit like some of our other players I see him as an intermediate solution to get us into the CL, at which point the squad can be improved again.

Never really get points like this, surely its completely and utterly dependant on who he's surrounded by? Man Utd prove that, theyve havent had a top class central midfielder for ages.

And its a bit harsh to be writing him off after the 2 displays he's just given, he's still learning aswell, he's only had one season and a bit at this level.

Adam has turned out to be an inspired signing to be honest......

one of the great things about him is that he obviously feels so fockin lucky and priveledged to be playing for LFC

That said, we have been spoiled in this department over the years.

I have my reservations but in recent weeks he has convinced me that he can do an excellent job for us in a lot of games. I think we need to add another options to the squad/team but he is a very sound option. I think Lucas + Adam is becoming a much better midfield partnership than several United have used in recent years and they have done pretty well.
