Absolutely ridiculous. Regardless of the apparant stat I saw mentioned that he was one of our most hard working last season. It really means his tracking back and running about is all in vain if he can't make a tackle. We need Allen right away.

The annoying thing is he doesn't track back either, he loses his man so often leaving the defence exposed.

i still rate adam and would like to see him kept as a squad player if nothing else but in a 3 man midfield i cant see a defined role for him - cant tackle for defensive role, not pacy or mobile enough to be the attacking support role and we cant afford to have a "passenger" who just holds the middle ground only in a 3 man midfield.

wtf does he actually do if he cannot tackle, doesnt help the defence, has no pace going forward, isnt mobile enough to play at this level, we cannot afford him as a passenger, but you still rate him

baitman, sounds daft i know still rating him given that i cant see a quality in him that would fit into a supposed 4-3-3 but last year he was our best midfielder behind gerard. goals and assists he was 2 and 7 last year all in so he has some redeming qualities that maybe just maybe rodgers could get out more consistantly

most of our new dead wood was hunted on the basis of stats. we can thank comoli and kenny for looking at numbers on a bit of paper, rather than looking to see if a player can actually move a ball around.
