A moron makes a monkey gesture at a football ground. If this really big news? There are idiots in society, why we think football should be exempt from this I have no idea. Football tends to bring out the worse in people as emotions are high. Alcohol is normally involved. Ban him. End of.

Really? Blimey. When you consider what some of the early black players had to put up with, which they did and earned many people's respect for it. it seems people these days who have no such hardships get extra upset by largely minor things. Not just racial stuff but right across life. The days of thick skins, backbone and standing tall seem a thing of the past. Its all seems like point scoring. I'd much prefer a world where people were tolerant of others instead of a world of cunts and a football world where we have artificially clensed the audience to what is deemed acceptable.

The guy at anfield was prosecuted too and rightly so.

This kinda thing has to stop. Its not acceptable.

Should it be headline news? Probably not.
          Oh I don't know.

Nobody inside football made that police complaint, but yeah it'll be interesting to see how the FA deal with Chelsea's complaint now.
                      Hello mert.

Totally expected, it's the FA investigation that will be the interesting one.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The FA need to be careful. They don't want to discourage people from making these allegations. But the also need to make people aware they need to have some sort of proof.
                          *Except Michael, who died.

                            This is ****ing ridiculous:

"Inquires were made and no victims have come forward," the Met said in a statement. "The matter will remain as a recorded incident. Without a victim and/or any evidence that any offence has been committed, the matter cannot currently be investigated. If the situation changes and a victim and/or evidence to support an allegation of a crime comes to police attention, then further inquiries will, if appropriate, be made."

Chelsea have been screaming blue murder over this yet none of them bothered to make an official complaint....Hhmm.

So perhaps Chelsea know that it wasn't racial abuse but the referee used a word that referenced his colour?

That's the only thing I can think of.
