Ashley Cole apologises to FA: "I had just finished training and saw the captions on the TV screens in the treatment rooms about what was said in the FA Commission Ruling about me. I was really upset and tweeted my feelings in the heat of the moment. I apologise unreservedly for my comment about the FA."Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Oh It's fine, Roy's had a word, and he'll be selected as usual for the next England game, AC's 100TH Cap too coming up in two games time.Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostHe can say sorry all he wants. The FA will want his head. It's as simple as that. I wouldn't be surprised if they ban him for the entire season after that.

Yes but in the media's eyes Evra was the victim so Suarez's refusal to shake his hand was seen by them as inflammatory.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostWhat really ****s me up in all this, is the non handshakes between them since the incident, and how Suarez was made to feel for wanting to stand his ground, how we were told he was shaming the club and football!
******s! ******s! ******s!
It's like Terry refusing Ferdinands hand if it was offered to him, that's the difference, as wrong as it is.

One strange aspect that goes against the whole xenophobic based difference in treatment is the attitude towards the 'victims', which should surely be the focus. Evra the foreigner got a lot if sympathy in the coverage, but nobody seems to give a **** that Anton Ferdinand got called a black cunt. I appreciate that the perpetrator is probably the reason but it isn't right that the focus has been almost entirely on how this impacts terry, his place in the England team or captaincy of Chelsea.Last edited by Kenneth; 05-10-12, 05:34 PM.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years
