If he is found guilty I think the FA will not do anything as they will say it has been dealt with via the courts. He will get 2.5k fine and that's it.

I think the FA have set a precedent with how they handled the Suarez affair - they're going to have to be consistent; found guilty by the FA = 8 games, found guilty by a court of law = the same, if not more.Originally posted by malg View PostIf he is found guilty I think the FA will not do anything as they will say it has been dealt with via the courts. How did they break Suarez's ban down? Four games for threatening behaviour, four for racist remarks?

Based on history being inconsistent isn't something that bothers the FAOriginally posted by Muddled View PostI think the FA have set a precedent with how they handled the Suarez affair - they're going to have to be consistent; found guilty by the FA = 8 games, found guilty by a court of law = the same, if not more.

A member of the public complained to the police so they (they police) had to look into it. The funny thing is though, David Bernstein (Chairman of the FA) is also a member of the public, as is every member of the FA, so they could have reported the Suarez incident to the police.Originally posted by Alex View PostI don't think it was reported to the police. Think Evra would have had to press charges too. Don't quote me on that though.Last edited by BootRoom; 10-07-12, 06:35 PM.

See that Piara Power bloke is mentioning us again, someone asked him why he hadnt said anything about the Terry case yet.
@PiaraPowar: @AntonChetty what's to say? There is a trial underway. Perhaps you would be better off spending more time understanding + less trolling.@PiaraPowar: @AntonChetty Suarez was guilty, as was Dalglish. Leave this space open for progressives, not blind club loyalists.@PiaraPowar: Side development to the Terry case. LFC fans getting self-righteous in defence of Suarez. Again. Same old story. The times they are a changin'.
