Cavani has signed a 1 year extension. He's turned out, as I predicted, to be a very good signing for them. Nice to able to afford the luxury of paying a squad member £250,000 a week, but when they have him and we have Origi, it's a frustrating situation.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

A bit convenient, given the fans will no doubt be protesting anyway...better to have them protesting outside the gates than inside the stadium!Originally posted by Deano View PostStruggling to get a safety certificate for the stadium for when fans return (roof/exits), plus only main stand will be for corporate clients. Reports of unpaid bills for catering/cleaning/security etc, etc.

“The decision to allow 10,000 cunts into the ground for Tuesday’s game against Fulham was reviewed on Friday following anti-Glazer demonstrations,” The Mail reports.
“What had been considered a formality following the Government’s decision to ease lockdown restrictions was thrown into doubt by Tuesday’s protest before the defeat by Liverpool.
“But after urgent talks between United and their safety advisory group – made up of Trafford Borough Council, local police and emergency services – a safety certificate for the Fulham game was eventually issued late in the day.
“United will now welcome fans into Old Trafford for the first time in more than 14 months, going back to the Manchester derby in March last year.
“It could present opportunities for troublemakers, and there are fears protesters may infiltrate the match-going fans to cause more disruption. United are confident they will know who is coming into Old Trafford, with supporters applying for tickets through a ballot system and facing strict identity checks at the ground.”_____________________________________

Getting their excuses in! Also Crooks is banging on about how no professional team can be expected to play two games in three days and put up a performance, completely ignoring the fact that almost the entire first team were rested against Leicester!Originally posted by Shaggy View PostWas muß, das muß.
