Lots of quality there, absolutely no idea on what system suits after 3 years. Shocking TBH.

They now have to stick with him until at least Jan as they have publicly backed him, HERE'S HOPING

Look, OGS has the 3rd most points since he was appointed. He is a successful manager and must stay.

That interview with Ole was excruciating. This is worse than Woy (for them).

At least with him he had chancers like Joe Cole blowing out of his hole after 10mins and the owners were asset stripping. United have spent millions and have a lot of talent... Just being run by a complete chancer.

They were toyed with. The city away fans let them know all about it too. Plenty of oles at the wheel blaring out.

They have a few players who just aren't good enough but that started from tactical errors.

Playing such a flat 5 at the back. They changed in the second half but it didn't matter because their fullbacks were still too deep. Absolutely no help for their CMs, just inviting foden, cancelo, Silva and walker onto them.

Just a lack of courage from the manager and players, long may it continue, hilarious to watch Ronaldo's face during these games

There is a decent squad there though.

Not a Liverpool, City or Chelsea level squad, but one that could be a best of the rest squad had it a good manager and coaching staff to organise it and get it to play to it's strengths. The best of the middle tablers if you will.

Get them to move as a unit, to press as a unit, to defend in banks of four and so on. Get them to just be very well drilled n the basics and you would see a difference quickly.

Also think that their biggest names are theor biggest weaknesses, especially when too many of them are getting shoe horned into the team at the same time.

The five at the back with two DMs in front of it is baffling too. You end up with 7 defensive outfield players and up front you have Ronaldo who will not work hard so the two remaining players are meant to do the running, chasing and creating of four really to make up for the lack of help from elsewhere in the team.

For me you would go with

                -------------------------De Gea-----------------------
                Bissaka-------Bailly--------------Lindelof--------Shaw
                -------------van de Beek--------McTominey----------
                -------------------------Fernandes--------------------
                Greenwood----------------------------------Rashford
                -------------------------Cavani------------------------

Basically a mix of the harder workers all being in the same team along with players being in the positions that suit them best.

Is not a team that is going to worry the big three in the league in the slightest, but would be one that might be more cohesive and actually be able to work as a unit.

Pogba I would have nowhere near the team. Maguire is there if one of the CB is cocking up as the back line is pretty agricultural anyway just that I think Shaw plays better with anyone that is not Maguire beside him.

Ronaldo I would use as a regular sub and a sometime starter in place of Cavani but the other ten stay the same behind him.

Course the biggest problem they have is the non coaching manager and the pretty hapless army of coaching folk.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

He has a better record than both Ferguson and Klopp over his first 180 games.
He should be given the next 5 seasons to show if he can emulate those 2 with trophies.

Ex-Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder Danny Murphy, speaking to Match of the Day: If Manchester United are going to compete with the big teams now, they need to change the manager.

Ex-England and Newcastle striker Alan Shearer talking to Match of the Day: If the players wanted him to continue in the job they would give more effort. It is both, no player should need to be told to make more effort but the system and the tactics come from the manager

Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane, speaking to Sky Sports: "The difference in class, quality, decision making, everything. It was men against boys. United are so awful it's unbelievable. Phil Foden said it's a tough place to come. It's not. Ask Everton, ask Aston Villa, ask Liverpool. Ole has to take responsibility. I've defended him. They need to get more out of these players. Some of them just aren't up to playing for Manchester United."

Five-time Manchester United Premier League winner Peter Schmeichel, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "Something is clearly missing. The disappointment is the players don't have the ability to adjust to what they are up against."

Former Liverpool defender Stephen Warnock, speaking to 5 Live: "I think Ole is their man, but five goals against Liverpool and two against Manchester City isn't good enough. I thought they were poor again. At the moment, they don't look like they know what they're doing."

Former Liverpool and Scotland midfielder Graeme Souness, speaking to Sky Sports: "It's a wake-up call for United. It was a shock to the system against Liverpool and this is another one. It's another reminder how far United are away from the team they want to be."
                      Good on Stephen Warnock

Who have they got next? Feels like they are due another ‘maybe it’s not as bad as all that’ performance (draw).

And… who do they go for manager wise now? There’s nobody out there. Zidane would be my next choice
