Sad news one of the greats of English football R.I.P.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Big Jack took his (honourary) Irish status seriously when it came to grudges.

Pretty sure they got on most of the time though and only had little spats. If there was a serious rift then I doubt Jack would have been the one to present Bobby with the Lifetime achievement award that he won some years back.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

That was something of a reconciliation. They’d been estranged for a good 10 years prior to that.

I think the wives got involved when Jack was diagnosed early days with his condition.
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Bobby Charlton was estranged from his whole family i think.. Something about his wife being a bit of a cunt.. Apparently when their dad was dying, he told them that if Bobby sent flowers they were to throw them in the fire. Jack then was publicly critical of bobby for not visiting their mother when she was dying. He blamed Bobbys wife. Bobby then saw his arse and that was the end of their relationship.

The sports personality thing was an attempt to get them back on talking terms but I think they didn't really to be honest.

They are really dog****.. City could put 4 or 5 past them at the weekend.

****in jammy to get the 3 points tonight.

But look at their league wins:
                              1. Poxy against Wolves - onana should have given a peno away. Im sure it was the same ****in plebs that ****ed us in the ass at spurs did the same to wolves

                              2. Jammy v Forest. 2 down, and a dodgy peno saved them.

                              3. Beat sheff united by a goal. Garbage

                              4. Jammy v Brentford. 2 goals in fergie time.

Theyve lost against spurs, Arsenal, Brighton, Palace in the league. 4.losses from 9 games. Theyve not played well in any game and between now and Christmas they have City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle, West Ham (a), Villa..... As well as tricky aways like Everton, Fulham, Forest

Their next 4 in particular could (hopefully, will) torpedo their season

They really do not pass the eye test at the moment
