The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

      Yeah you're probably right there.

Similar to the Hodgson / Kenny thing a few years ago, you could imagine the Ferguson chants to come back if United have a couple of ropey results.

Oh yeah I'd imagine the first iffy performance his name will be chanted, for anyone to come in there they need a clean break from Fergie and be allowed to do their own thing, thankfully this will never happen

Let's remember that Moyes is a winner, a winner who has never won anything but he doesn't need to win things to prove that he's a winner.

**** me. Sounds like something that Arn would type.

You're forgetting they don't sing about their own, to busy signing about other teams/players.

Ha, how can you be a winner without winning anything. Woy said the same this morning on Goals on Sunday.

Well the Maleven tweet is a windup but did Woy really say that on live TV?

                          What a bellend if so

I think the subject came up about him not winning a trophy and he said something like - he may not have won a trophy but he's managed Everton for over 500 games and he's got them in to the top 6 a few times and that is like winning a cup for a team like Everton.

Ferguson pulling no punches with Rooney there. He asked for a transfer, he wasn't keen on playing and may need to think things through. Not for sale and he (Rooney) has been frustrated at not playing/being taken off.
