Well played Fergie and Gill. They knew there is no money to rebuild another league winning squad so having won last season, both retires and leaves the **** for Moyes and Woodward.

      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

i also wonder if this is why rooney want's out - he can see what's happening behind the scenes and knows if he stays, a couple years down the line he'll be the last one left

i know it's completley different level, but it's happend to me before - take uni team for example, i was the only first year in my team, we had a great side made up of 2nd/final year people

1st year we smashed the league up - a few left
2nd year we won the league, - virtually everyone left
3rd year, we looked ****e so i bailed to another team before the season started

same with weekend football teams i've been involved with - we've had great sides and then slowly, you can see it coming, one lad ends up moving away cause of work, another stops playing due to injuries, another has a baby so can't play and bit by bit you can see your once great side starting to fall away - so you get out whilst the goings still good

happens in work life as well, i've worked at places where it's been great, then a change of ownership/managment, one or two popular people leave, etc etc
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

United fans going mad they were not in for Ozil.

Moyes won't pick Kagawa so he would have **** all idea of what to do with Ozil

                            as shaggy said yesterday

in a weird kinda way part of me thinks i'd have preferred ozil to go united instead of Arsenal - just because i found a new hatred for arsenal this summer during their pursuit of Suarez and in particular those BOOM cunts Piers Morgan and John Cross - Also on paper, it looked more likely that arsenal where the team we could most likely over take

Plus as you and i think shaggy have pointed out, i don't think Ozil at united would have made much difference because Moyes wouldn't have a clue what to do with him where as i do thing Ozil at Arsenal with Wenger could be a big hit.

however - looking at it now

Whilst good, i still feel arsenal have spunked a lot of their money Ozil, purely to sign a top class player to please the fans, and that they would have been better spending that money on 3 or 4 players to improve the squad (for example the money on Ozil could have more or less got Mignolet, Sakho, Coutinho and Sturridge - they'd be a much better team)

And Arsenal still have issues in goal and defence

And whilst i don't feel moyes would have known what to do with Ozil, he is exactly what they needed, and although i do thing fellaini is decent enough, the whole transfer window shennigans for united has been hilarious

All we need is one Giroud injury and its time for Bendtner to finish off Ozil's through balls till Podolski recovers!
