Who exactly is that capable candidate? Not exactly a long list of managers who can possibly follow up that period of success. They look like they are exactly where we were in 1991 when an out of his depth Scottish manager took over a team that was declining. He tried to put his own stamp on a team after a sustained period of success and it all crumbled seemingly in a season.

Stating that one of their major priorities was keeping Rooney was a very poor way to placate their supporters after a **** transfer window for them. I have a feeling they will improve, but I think they will struggle to achieve top four this season. If that happens Moyes will be sacked anyway.

Different era though. I don't know who they'd get but they are totally different to us then, especially in wealth. They are a huge money making machine. Any good manager worth his salt would be able to squeeze a trophy or two out of them before it all goes per shaped, they get sacked and the cycle repeats.

Moyes won't win anything, ever,so long may he keep the job.

How long before this gets torn down?

We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it

Keep seeing their "Not arrogant, just better" banner & thinking it couldn't happen to a nicer set of utter cunts.

Let's see how a few seasons out of the Champions League suits them.

Good managers won't want to go there as they know the Glazers just want a yes man.

Good players won't want to go there as the current manager is a clueless gimp.

Their good players are getting pretty old (Giggs, Ferdinand, RVP, Vidic).

It isn't conclusive, but it does possibly indicate that Ferguson's influence in the game (particularly over referees and their decision making) was worth several points to them every season. They have looked ordinary for years.

They have been completely ordinary for years. What set them apart was their ability to grind 1 - 0 after 1 - 0 when not being the better team, usually with some sort of late goal. That, and fact that most teams were too scared to play against them, so resorted to damage limitation tactics.
                      Oh I don't know.

                              Moyes is simply brilliant.
