In all seriousness this potential demise could not have been better timed. My lad's best mate at school is United, his whole family are rabid United, we live in Manchester. My lad is quite impressionable at the moment and is a bit obsessed with his bezzie. Someone said "Manchester United" on TV the other week and my lad said "They're the best team Daddy".
We then had a long and serious chat.
But Moyes has done all hard work for me. I've showed him the league table, how LOW United are, how high we are. Every time he knows I'm watching football..."did Liverpool win Daddy?"
"YES we won"
"Yessssss! Did Manchester United lose again?"
"YES! They lost again son."
"Yessss!"
Now he's going to school and getting the upper hand over his United obsessed mate. Phew. Thank **** for that.

Like earlier in the season when they were **** but then they walloped Leverkusen,Fulham and beat Arsenal and they all thought they were back in business.If it can carry on like that for the next couple of seasons I'll be well chuffed.Comment

I've been hammering the manc lad in work all day. He's been as quiet as a mouse for a few weeks now.
Today though he come out with "we'll have money to spend and will strengthen in January" to which i said "yeah lad and you have David Moyes spending it like he did in the summer on a £27m bog brush". He is in proper denial as well as he refuses to believe that Rooney and RVP want off.
