I think the Valencia owner (Lim?) is a shareholder at Salford. I assume that it gives him cheap publicity.

I think it's a little unfair on Phil Neville, as much as many of us like to mock him, he has experience in the PL as a player and a coach. Not only that he has experience working under the man hand chosen by Alex Ferguson to look after his Man Utd legacy
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

So is Ramos having utd on to get a better contract or is he serious.

Ramos and Jones would be an interesting partnership. Jones gifts the ball to the striker and Ramos hacks him down for the red card.

It would be quicker to list players they are not buying.

imagine if utd did do this deal.......
Huge news has been reported by Bild journalist Christian Falk on Wednesday, as he announced that Manchester United have made a €160m bid for Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller.

Christian Falk is a chief reporter at Bild, who focuses on Bayern Munich.

According to the report, Man United have offered Muller a five year contract to move to Old Trafford, as the Red Devils have put together a €160 million package that includes the transfer fee and the total wages offered in the deal.

                    Muller said:

When a request comes, automatically you deal with it. A request from a big club is an honor and a reward that [the player] is performing well. But I feel happy at Bayern, and my contract runs until 2019. There is nothing more to say on these speculations.

I'd be more worried if they went for someone like Godin, think he's much better than Ramos. The fact he plays for Madrid automatically hypes him up more - think he's quite over rated personally. Certainly not a bad player, but there are a number of people I'd sign before him.

How Ramos got into the World XI last year and Godin didn't
