Like Rodgers I'm taking this season quietly but inside I'm confident. Let's just see what laughable tactics LvG throws out early doors this time. Being a regular Redcafer I remember how sustained Utd fans' ire was with his style before we effectively handed them 4th place. One tit for another.

Being linked with a bid for Robert Lewandowski ......Lewandowski's Agent Cezary Kucharski
“I think it would have to be a very high offer, definitely higher than €50m," Cezary Kucharski said on Polish television. There must be a signal from the club, from Munich," Kucharski added. "There is no such signal so we are not thinking about it, because even thinking about a change of club would be unfair in my opinion to the current employers.
"There is no reason, apart from money to be honest, to even think about it.
"Bayern would have to think about why they would get rid of Robert Lewandowski. It seems to me that there is no reason to even think about it.
"With a player of Robert's class, the truth is that not a lot of work is required because really there are only two directions in which he could go in the future, England or Spain, and only with Bayern Munich's acceptance."

Robert Lewandowski's agent has told Manchester United it will cost them more than £35m to sign the 26-year-old Bayern Munich striker this summer. (Independent)
Top player be a great signing for any team.Last edited by Bender; 15-07-15, 12:57 PM.

@BBCSport: #mufc to sell Victor Valdes because "he doesn't follow my philosophy. There's no place for someone like that," says Louis van Gaal.Aye. I'd still be tempted to make a cheeky bid for him though.Originally posted by Norbs View PostSo's Valdes it seems"The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."
