They must be fairly confident he's going to be the next big thing if they are prepared to pay that kind of money, given what he seems to have done so far in his career.

Admittedly I've not seen him play

If this is the market rate City screwed us with the price we got for Sterling

            Interesting....

As he gazed across the tranquil Bay of Biscay on his regular Sunday walk along San Sebastian's promenade, a wry smile may have appeared on David Moyes's face.
Not because his new employers have opened the season with two clean sheets (they haven't scored either) but because Manchester United's morale-sapping 2-1 defeat at Swansea City means that his successor has now reached 50 games in the Old Trafford hotseat - and his record is almost identical.

Louis van Gaal has had half a century of matches. Of those he has won 27, just like the Scotsman. He may have three more draws but Hoofy Louis has delivered exactly the same number of victories.

Well considering Pellegrini himself said Sterling was worth £100Million,they got him for less than half that...maybe we should have said to City £65-70 Million...they have endless amounts of £££££

The season keeps getting better for Utd!

Rooney is ****, Depay is ****, their defence is **** and they're selling their best player.

I guess that puts then almost on equal footing with us. Bring on the next game!

That stat with Hoofy vs Gollum is interesting cos the former has spunked ****loads.
                        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Its strange more isnt made of just how dreadful they are, yeah they got a CL spot because they had a bit more luck than the others (not being any better) but meh. And after spending over £100m net they play arguably the dullest football the sport in this country has ever witnessed. For the self proclaimed biggest club in the world its not very good.

They are wank. And as much as I like Godgers failing to finish above this mob this season (assuming they dont pull some transfer blinders out of the hat) has to be a sacking offence.

£30 million for someone I have literally never heard of.
They have replaced their scouting team with Jorge Mendes.
