I just noticed Ronaldo got player of the month for september. Must have got more assists than Salah or something.

That's absolutely ridiculous numbers for a guy who is 37 is a few months.
The midfield might be dreadful but it's not down to a lack of investment:
        van der Beek £35m
        Fernandes £55m
        Pogba £90m
        Fred £50m
        Matic £40m

I would say they didn’t invest wisely there - they are crying out for a proper DM for years. The Van DB money should have been kept for that position, I’d even argue a DM was more important than Sancho but I understand why they bought him

Looking forward to this game. All results are a victory IMO.

But I can't see past a narrow win for City.

City by at least two goals, but expect more.

When I say invest there, I mean invest wisely. IMO this season they needed to get rid of Matic, Pogba & Fred and get better replacements, especially a quality DM. I did think that is what they were going to do but for some reason they kept what they had.

                    Could be.

Don't think they have much balance with Ronaldo and Greenwood in the same team. A shoot out with City doesn't tend to end well.

Did not take City long to score

Or to force a goal I suppose
