Whatever they decide to do, he is a big problem for them.

What legal action he could take against them is probably what the Mancs are looking into.

As he was not convicted of a crime, as opposed to being found innocent, he could most likely sue them for breach of contract if they tried to get rid of him without a big pay off.

Personally I would do what I suggested ages back.

Pay him what he is due every week as per his contract but do not have him in training or playing. Let him just rot for the final years of his contract and anything that he does in that time that is in breach of contract fine him for it and give the fines to an organisation that helps folk against abusive partners etc.

Let his career just fade away even more and by paying him they would probably be safe from legal action.

Legal heads would have a better idea if something like that is doable.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Should sack him for bringing the club into disrepute. there should be some clause in the contract tht does not require conviction. failing a drug test as an example.

he could fight it in court, but it would be reaally expensive, and he could lose and struggle to find a new club, and be completely broke.

Given they have just spent £73m on that Danish lad, I can't see them keeping him this season, loan for 12 months and then maybe back ?

Put the women's team in a ****ty position putting it all on them, if they said no they get no end of abuse.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

UTD fans seem to be happy to forgive him since she did, so he can score goals again. Massive double standard.
