IMO one or two seasons away and him doing his best with some PR strategy of charity work or working with certain groups to try change the public perception, repairing his image and attempt to be the redemption guy.... then United might take it if the football sides of things are going well. From a PR perspective he was just too hot right now for United to take a chance on, that will cool in a few years.

His career will go to **** pretty quickly imo. He already had questionable attitude which would eventually catch up on him, but after all this and all the outside distraction, I just can't see him knuckling down and getting his career back on track.

I wouldn't be surprised if he feels like a victim here and he's hard done by, so as soon as the going gets tough, I predict a lot of petulance and blaming everyone else.
